The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omarov misses with a takedown attempt
and Riku counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Omarov thinking.
Riku lands a leg kick that knocks Omarov off balance momentarily.

and Riku counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Riku counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Lazuran Riku has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Magomedsaid Omarov.
Omarov looks winded!
Riku scores with a kick to the midsection.
Riku lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Omarov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Riku.
Omarov takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Riku counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Omarov is rocked!
Riku goes for a small jab and connects. Now Riku goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Omarov stumbles back but Riku runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Omarov to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Omarov will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lazuran Riku!
Lazuran Riku tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
