Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pioter Kowalski (ranked 4510 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tek Dog (ranked 4507 p4p, 0 weight class). Tek Dog has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pioter Kowalski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tek Dog!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski tries for a takedown but Dog circles away easily
and Dog counters with a nice uppercut.
Dog gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kowalski counters with a series of strikes. Dog will be more careful next time no doubt.
Kowalski fails to land the takedown.
Kowalski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dog sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kowalski somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pioter Kowalski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kowalski fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dog tries for a takedown but Kowalski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Dog has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kowalski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dog misses with a body punch.

Dog escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dog moves into the clinch.
Kowalski tries to score a body lock takedown but Dog shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kowalski avoids a wild elbow strike from Dog.
Dog can't break the clinch.
Kowalski is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Kowalski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kowalski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dog circles away.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kowalski rushes Dog and presses him up against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dog changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kowalski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dog stuffs the takedown.
Dog throws out a counter right but Kowalski avoids it with no problem.
Kowalski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dog circles away.

Kowalski closes the distance and clinches.
Dog gets through Kowalski's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Dog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dog misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Dog tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kowalski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A chopping leg kick lands by Dog.
Kowalski darts in looking for a takedown but Dog gets double underhooks and turns Kowalski into the cage.
Kowalski is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kowalski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kowalski wants it to stay on the feet.

Kowalski is pressed up against the cage. Dog has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kowalski down to the mat. Kowalski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kowalski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dog as he jumps to the side.

and Kowalski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kowalski.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kowalski goes for a double leg but Dog avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dog continues to drive forward.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kowalski throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Kowalski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dog stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dog wants it to stay on the feet.
Dog tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kowalski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dog somewhat.
Kowalski shoots in and drives through. Dog sprawls well.

Tek Dog showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Dog shoots in looking for a takedown. Kowalski tries to sprawl out of it but Dog keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kowalski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dog tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kowalski swivels and escapes.

Dog throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kowalski was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dog looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Dog fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kowalski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dog tries to avoid it but Kowalski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dog to the ground. Dog escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dog shoots for a takedown but Kowalski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kowalski appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kowalski shoots in but no luck this time.
Kowalski tries to clinch there but Dog circles away.

Kowalski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dog as he avoids it easily.
Dog leaves Kowalski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Tek Dog.
I've got Dog winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
