The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Texas drops back looking for a leg! Nelson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nelson manages to kick Texas off! Texas jumps back into Nelson's guard.

Nelson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Texas defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Texas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Texas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Nelson has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Texas has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Texas drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Texas seems to have locked his on tight now - Nelson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Texas, as he picks up the win!
