Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Barbosa (ranked 547 p4p, 72 weight class) and Hughie McFee (ranked 2842 p4p, 311 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa moves out of range as McFee strikes.
Barbosa lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Barbosa closes the distance and pushes McFee back into the cage.
Barbosa is trying to pull guard but McFee turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Barbosa misses with the head strike.
McFee misses with the head strike.
Barbosa working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Barbosa misses with a short punch on the inside.
McFee swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Barbosa lands a right hand that snaps the head of McFee backwards.

McFee breaks the clinch.
McFee pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McFee looks to score with a jab to the body but Barbosa is just out of range.
McFee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Barbosa jabs McFee right on the nose. McFee blinks but takes it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McFee misses with a straight right.
Barbosa seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
McFee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Barbosa scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

McFee is rocked!
McFee gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Barbosa gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! McFee is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
