The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledru defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Norppa.
Ledru throws a right and a left that Norppa avoids nicely.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ledru enables Norppa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ledru manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Norppa stands and throws Ledru's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Ledru tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Norppa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ledru scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Norppa is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ledru can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
