The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez misses with the combination.
Rekdal slips under a jab from Dominguez.
Rekdal takes a swing at Dominguez's ribcage but misses.
Dominguez keeps the fight on the outside.
A combination from Dominguez does no damage.
Rekdal tries to clinch up.
Rekdal throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dominguez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dominguez thows a body shot but no joy.
Rekdal cracks Dominguez with an uppercut from hell and Dominguez crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Rekdal's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

It looks like Pablo Dominguez has been cut.

Rekdal wants to stand but Dominguez has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dominguez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rekdal tries to bum rush Dominguez with a series of wild strikes but Dominguez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dominguez misses with a double jab

and Rekdal counters with a left hand that sends Dominguez to the canvas!
Oh Dominguez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dominguez is breathing heavily.
Rekdal is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dominguez seems to have got his legs back now.

Dominguez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rekdal stacks Dominguez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rekdal!

A looping hook to the body misses from Rekdal. Dominguez does a little dance to reset his feet.
