PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Asai (ranked 433 p4p, 58 weight class) and Gemellus Axius (ranked 1146 p4p, 139 weight class). Asai comes into the arena with Kaze Ni Nare blaring out of the sound system. Axius comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Feed the Machine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gemellus Axius was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asai throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Asai sets himself, and Axius steps forward looking for the clinch! Asai avoids it this time.

Axius wants to counter with a clinch but Asai pushes him away.
Axius throws a leg kick which misses Asai 's front leg but catches the back leg as Asai tries to avoid it.
Axius lands the left hand.

Asai swats away the attempt to clinch by Axius.

Axius gets control of Asai 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Axius will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Axius has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Asai should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Axius has tightened it up now! Asai should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
