The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akishev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marquez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Marquez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Marquez throws a sloppy head kick and Akishev moves out of range easily.
Marquez throws the left hand but Akishev avoids the punch easily.
Akishev wants to clinch up but Marquez keeps it at a distance.
Marquez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Marquez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Akishev sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Akishev showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Marquez.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Marquez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Marquez misses with a few strikes there.
As Marquez backs off Akishev throws a huge counter combo but Marquez manages to avoid it all.
Marquez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Akishev fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Marquez.
Marquez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Akishev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Akishev doesn't manage to clinch there - Marquez circles away.
Marquez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Akishev circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Akishev avoids the head kick by Marquez.
Akishev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Akishev delivers a nice body kick.
Marquez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Marquez is breathing heavily.

Akishev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marquez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Akishev circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Marquez drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Akishev follows Marquez to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
