Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kendrick Fatman (ranked 4704 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fits Miz (ranked 24872 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kendrick Fatman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fits Miz!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miz swats away the attempt to clinch by Fatman.
Fatman misses with a leg kick

and Miz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fatman won't be happy with that.

Fatman throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Fatman tries to keep at a distance but Miz has taken the fight into the clinch.

Fatman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fatman tries to pull guard but Miz won't allow it.

Miz gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fatman regains guard.
Fatman wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Miz manages to pass to side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Miz prevents Fatman from improving his position.

Miz escapes and gets back to his feet.
Fatman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Miz circles away quickly and effectively.
Fatman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Miz clinches up with Fatman and pushes him back against the cage.
Fatman wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Miz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fatman gets caught napping as Miz dives in and scores a takedown. Fatman manages to retain guard.
Fatman is looking to stand back up but Miz counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Fatman.
Miz looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Miz winds up and cracks Fatman with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fatman is trying to get back to full guard.

Fatman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Miz pulls his head out easily.

Miz postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Fatman to stand up.

Miz darts in and clinches Fatman up against the cage.

Miz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fatman throws a head kick but Miz moves out of range.
A left and a right from Fatman both land. Nice combination.

Miz forces Fatman back against the cage and clinches.

Miz pulls guard effortlessly.
Fatman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fatman takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Miz striking off his back but it's not causing Fatman any problems.
Fatman trying to control but Miz is working from the bottom.
Miz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fatman is one step ahead there.

Miz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fatman trying to control the position from guard on top but Miz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fatman is posturing up here but Miz has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Fatman tries to roll out but it's too tight and Fatman has to tap! Slick submission there by Miz!
