And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor OMalley!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMalley throws a lazy head kick

and Steinheiser counters with a single leg into guard. OMalley didn't expect that.
OMalley controls Steinheiser momentarily but Steinheiser frees himself.
Steinheiser throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as OMalley works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
OMalley preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

OMalley is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
OMalley controls Steinheiser momentarily but Steinheiser frees himself.
Steinheiser scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
OMalley pulls Steinheiser in close to his closed guard and prevents Steinheiser from doing any damage or advancing position.

Steinheiser got a little sloppy there for a moment and OMalley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Steinheiser has managed to get both his arms back between OMalley's legs - danger averted.

OMalley is stalling here. Steinheiser is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! OMalley seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Steinheiser has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Steinheiser is defended easily by OMalley.

OMalley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Steinheiser regains half guard there - taking advantage of OMalley's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
OMalley wants to control but Steinheiser is keeping him busy.

OMalley is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Who the hell can fight effectively while getting fingered in their asshole??? I did not like that at all ... though it felt good, but that is besides the point! A distraction is a DISTRACTION!!! '.
