Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between xu Chen (ranked 5055 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reese Tuwasa (ranked 4982 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chen takes the fight into the clinch.
Chen jumps guard but Tuwasa turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Chen gets control of Tuwasa's arms and successfully pulls guard. Chen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Tuwasa wants to pass the guard but Chen is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuwasa wants to stand but Chen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Tuwasa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tuwasa trying to control the position from guard on top but Chen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Chen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tuwasa doesn't defend quickly enough and Chen has managed to lock this one up! Can Tuwasa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Chen on a fantastic submission victory.
