Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Lucic (ranked 4397 p4p, 396 weight class) and No Way (ranked 3358 p4p, 339 weight class). No Way will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lucic.
Way swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Lucic counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Way is trying to stand.
Lucic is looking to stall here but Way recovers full guard.
Lucic trying to control but Way is working from the bottom.
Way wants to get back to his feet but Lucic is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lucic slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lucic is really struggling to control Way but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Way wants to get back to his feet but Lucic is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lucic postures up in Way's guard and throws a big left but Way blocks it.
Way keeping moving, preventing Lucic from controlling successfully.
Way utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

No Way seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Way throws a looping overhand right but Lucic ducks down to avoid it.

During a confident post fight interview, No Way thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Damien Lucic stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sometimes you get lucky like him. I was better, but no can do!'.
