The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing reports that Schubert has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Schubert throws out a loose jab but Jussi uses good head movement to avoid it.

A close round but Iron Jussi will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jussi sends Schubert crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jussi is motioning to the referee to let Schubert up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Iron Jussi seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Schubert drops his hands momentarily. Jussi doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Schubert staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Schubert doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
