Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luigi Bonifacio (ranked 24765 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrestle Sparbot (ranked 3420 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonifacio comes to the cage accompanied by Karate - Kennedy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparbot throws a poor cross that misses
and Bonifacio counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Sparbot shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bonifacio defends it nicely.
Bonifacio throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and Bonifacio makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Luigi Bonifacio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wrestle Sparbot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sparbot shoots in looking for a takedown. Bonifacio tries to sprawl out of it but Sparbot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bonifacio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sparbot shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bonifacio sprawls well. Bonifacio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sparbot gets slowly back to his feet.

Bonifacio lands a really nice looking cross but Sparbot seems unphased.
Sparbot is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It looked like Bonifacio was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sparbot.

Sparbot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sparbot postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bonifacio is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sparbot, into his guard.
Bonifacio is posturing up here but Sparbot has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bonifacio tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bonifacio has to tap! Slick submission there by Sparbot!
