The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin misses with a shot to the body
and Cole counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Tyson Franklin has been cut.

Cole circles away from the clinch attempt

and Cole counters with a crisp right hand that drops Franklin ! Cole lets Franklin back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Oh Franklin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cole stuffs the takedown attempt from Franklin . Franklin gets slowly back to his feet.
Cole looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Cole dips a shoulder and cracks Franklin with a mighty uppercut! Franklin falls back against the cage and Cole unloads with a barrage of strikes! Franklin is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Cole screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
