The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schumacher misses with a takedown attempt - White sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Schumacher gets tackled into the cage by White. White maintains the clinch.
White using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Schumacher has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
White gets underhooks to prevent Schumacher's takedown attempt.
White tries to throw a body punch but Schumacher avoids it by throwing White back against the cage.
Schumacher blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Schumacher on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Schumacher wants to take the fight to the mat but White manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Schumacher wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
White throws an elbow but it misses.

White drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Schumacher dives on top into guard.

White throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Schumacher escapes and throws White's legs to the side, diving into side control!
