The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garak connects with a body shot that sends Tanner's belly button to the back.
Garak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tanner manages to avoid it.
Garak tries to clinch up
and Tanner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tanner misses with a straight left.

Garak moves into the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Garak.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tanner makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Garak swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Garak looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tanner misses with a body punch.

Tanner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Garak's corner calls for a 1-2. Garak obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Tanner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Tanner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Tanner throws a jab but it's blocked by Garak.

Tanner smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Garak moves out of range of the strikes.
Garak tries to counter with a clinch but Tanner shakes him off and moves away.
Tanner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Garak holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Tanner.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Garak.

Garak misses with a hook to the ribs.
Tanner is trying to break the clinch but Garak has him pressed against the cage.
Tanner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Garak throws a series of punches but Tanner moves out of range.
Garak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tanner manages to avoid it.
Tanner seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Nice uppercut lands for Tanner. That snapped Garak's head back.
Garak is rocked!
Garak moves in looking to clinch but Tanner pushes him off.
Tanner was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Garak slips a jab from Tanner.
Tanner sets himself, and Garak steps forward looking for the clinch! Tanner avoids it this time.

A relieved looking Rob Tanner thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
