Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bill Dafoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dafoe comes to the ring accompanied by Copperhead Road. The crowd seem to be enjoying Howard's choice of entrance music: Can't Touch This. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Dafoe as Howard shoots in.
Howard tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dafoe swivels and escapes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Dafoe has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Howard regains guard immediately.

Howard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dafoe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Howard had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dafoe is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Howard Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dafoe's back instead.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dafoe is looking to defend but Howard has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dafoe! Howard pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dafoe taps out and this one is all over!
