Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcellus Marcus !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcus tries to clinch but Julyfeather is having none of it.
Marcus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Julyfeather swivels and escapes.

Julyfeather throws a series of punches but Marcus avoids them all with ease.

Marcus has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Marcus there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Marcus shoots in and bounces Julyfeather off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Marcus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Marcus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Julyfeather utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Julyfeather connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Marcus 's hands.
Marcus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Julyfeather as he jumps to the side.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Julyfeather stalks Marcus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Marcus 's face. Marcus staggers backwards, shaken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Julyfeather drops down looking for a counter takedown but Marcus sprawls and moves away.
Marcus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Julyfeather as he avoids it easily.
Marcus closes the distance and clinches up with Julyfeather, looking for a takedown. Marcus pushes Julyfeather against the cage but Julyfeather circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Marcus shoots in looking for a takedown. Julyfeather tries to sprawl out of it but Marcus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Julyfeather manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Marcus throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Julyfeather was covering up waiting for the punch and Marcus finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Julyfeather is looking to stand back up but Marcus counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Julyfeather.
Julyfeather on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Julyfeather tries to get out of the position.
Marcus thows a huge punch but Julyfeather dodges it nicely.

Marcus seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That was a close second round but I would say that Roger Julyfeather will probably get the nod.

Marcus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Julyfeather sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marcus somewhat.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Julyfeather, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
