Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keastie Kannegaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reino Vaananen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kannegaard scores with a nice head shot.
Vaananen shoots in and drives through. Kannegaard sprawls well.
Kannegaard stuffs the takedown attempt from Vaananen. Vaananen gets slowly back to his feet.
Kannegaard tries to clinch up but Vaananen circles away and keeps his distance.
Vaananen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kannegaard but Kannegaard pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Vaananen stops Kannegaard from getting back to his feet.
Still in half guard, Vaananen seems content to control.
Kannegaard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vaananen on the ground.
Vaananen is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Vaananen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kannegaard is looking to escape.

That was a close round but I would say that Keastie Kannegaard will probably get the nod.

Vaananen shoots in looking for a takedown. Kannegaard tries to sprawl out of it but Vaananen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kannegaard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vaananen seems to have recovered his senses.

Vaananen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kannegaard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kannegaard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kannegaard wants to get up but he can't break Vaananen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Vaananen is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kannegaard rolls with it to try and escape but Vaananen cranks on the arm and Kannegaard is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
