Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Muamer Tomovic (ranked 4517 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krystian Szmyd (ranked 4451 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szmyd checks a leg kick.
Szmyd shoots for a takedown but Tomovic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Szmyd has closed the distance and engaged Tomovic in a clinch.
Tomovic wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Szmyd has him pressed against the cage.
Tomovic tries to pull guard but Szmyd won't allow it.

Muamer Tomovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krystian Szmyd.

Tomovic stops a takedown attempt from Szmyd.
Tomovic jumps guard but Szmyd stands there with Tomovic around his waist. Tomovic gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Krystian Szmyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tomovic throws a leg kick which misses Szmyd's front leg but catches the back leg as Szmyd tries to avoid it.
Szmyd will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Tomovic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tomovic keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tomovic throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Szmyd's head.
Tomovic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Szmyd's head.

and Tomovic counters with a left and a right that stings Szmyd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Szmyd shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Szmyd is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tomovic.

and Tomovic counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Szmyd thinking.
