Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Aurelius (ranked 2344 p4p, 258 weight class) and Edgar Avetisyan (ranked 2587 p4p, 278 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avetisyan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Avetisyan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aurelius.
Avetisyan gets tackled into the cage by Aurelius. Aurelius maintains the clinch.
Avetisyan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aurelius tries for a takedown but Avetisyan circles away easily
and Avetisyan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Avetisyan misses with a lunging right hand
and Aurelius connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Aurelius forces Avetisyan back against the cage and clinches.
Avetisyan is pressed up against the cage. Aurelius has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Avetisyan down to the mat. Avetisyan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Aurelius shoots in looking for a takedown. Avetisyan tries to sprawl out of it but Aurelius keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Avetisyan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Avetisyan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Aurelius on the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Avetisyan was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Aurelius takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Avetisyan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Aurelius closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Avetisyan to the mat! Avetisyan manages to get full guard.
Avetisyan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Aurelius off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Avetisyan, as that shot connected.
Aurelius shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Avetisyan but Avetisyan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Aurelius will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Aurelius shoots for a double leg takedown but Avetisyan sprawls well. He's pushed Aurelius's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Avetisyan lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Aurelius falls backwards - clearly groggy! Avetisyan dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Edgar Avetisyan decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Marcus Aurelius spoke after the fight, saying 'Nothing happens to any man that he is not formed by nature to bear. I'll be back!'.
