The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KickAss gets a double leg takedown into McDrippy's guard.
KickAss sitting in guard here, content to control.

McDrippy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

KickAss with a flurry of punches that miss.
KickAss passes McDrippy's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
KickAss looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McDrippy tries to roll over but KickAss keeps him under control.
KickAss perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
McDrippy wants to get back to full guard.
KickAss frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

KickAss postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McDrippy looks a forlorn figure.

McDrippy tries to hold on but KickAss pushes him away.

McDrippy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
KickAss has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
KickAss is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McDrippy wants to control from the top but KickAss keeps moving.
McDrippy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with KickAss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

KickAss looking for a sweep. Not yet KickAss, not yet.
McDrippy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. KickAss swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now KickAss is on top in guard.
KickAss gets to his feet - McDrippy follows without any prompting.
McDrippy connects with the punch.
McDrippy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McDrippy wants to clinch up but KickAss keeps it at a distance.
KickAss tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and McDrippy counters with a straight right hand.
KickAss shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. KickAss showed some decent athleticism there.
KickAss is breathing heavily.
McDrippy trying to control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
KickAss passes the guard and advances to mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McDrippy tries to hold on but KickAss postures up.
KickAss looking for a guillotine from mount but McDrippy is having none of it.

McDrippy is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but KickAss is staying active.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kilat KickAss dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
McDrippy tests KickAss's chin there with a solid looking shot.
McDrippy batters KickAss with a massive right followed by a huge left! KickAss is out on his feet looking like a zombie as McDrippy lands a final crushing right hand to drop KickAss to the mat with a gruesome thud! McDrippy is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Flange McDrippy!
