The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plaza gets a clinch.
Heymen has Plaza pushed against the cage.

Plaza isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Heymen stacks Plaza on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Heymen!

Plaza had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Heymen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Plaza Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Heymen's back instead.

Plaza seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Heymen's chin but Heymen turns very nicely into Plaza's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Heymen.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Plaza throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Heymen has his hands clasped together but Plaza breaks the hold and Heymen is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Plaza!
