Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Hanna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kain Veldspar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanna comes to the cage accompanied by Lunatic Fringe-Red Rider. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hanna looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Veldspar comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Hanna cracks Veldspar with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Veldspar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Veldspar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hanna manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Veldspar has Hanna in his guard.
