Smith has chosen Lonely Train by Black Stone Cherry as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Sionis finds it's target.

It looks like Aaron Smith has been cut.
Smith uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sionis.
Smith defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sionis.
Smith lands a nice shot that snaps Sionis's head back.

It looks like Roman Sionis has been cut.
Sionis tries for a takedown but Smith circles away easily
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.

Smith connects with the punch.
Smith cracks Sionis with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Sionis moves into the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Smith lands an elbow just above Sionis 's eye.
A head punch on the inside from Sionis fails to land.
Sionis tries to land a knee to the head but Smith blocks with his arms.
Smith lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Sionis is rocked!

Roman Sionis's cut is getting worse.

Smith breaks the clinch.

Sionis gets caught flat footed, as Smith shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Sionis scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Oh Sionis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
