The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitsongrit shoots in for a takedown but Jodson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sitsongrit connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jodson's hands.
A jab lands there for Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sitsongrit thuds a left hand into Jodson's body.
Marcinho Sitsongrit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jodson throws a low kick but Sitsongrit moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sitsongrit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jodson moves away.
Jodson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sitsongrit throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Sitsongrit uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jodson has time to react.
Jodson misses with a hook
and Sitsongrit counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jodson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sitsongrit.
Jodson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Sitsongrit looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

A quick step to the side and Jodson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sitsongrit swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sitsongrit looks to score with a jab to the body but Jodson is just out of range.
Sitsongrit misses with a lunging right hand
and Jodson counters with a straight right hand.
Sitsongrit lands with an uppercut that bounces Jodson off the cage and back into range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sitsongrit throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sitsongrit moves away from the strike by Jodson.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcinho Sitsongrit dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jodson sneaks out the side door and pushes Sitsongrit away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
