Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iota Knox (ranked 2784 p4p, 263 weight class) and Gabriel Gracie (ranked 2687 p4p, 253 weight class). Knox kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Blacker The Berry | Kendrick Lamar. Gabriel Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Gracie.
Knox thuds a left hand into Gracie's body.
Knox buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Knox defends it nicely.
Knox swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Gracie goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gracie cracks Knox with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gracie throws a good cross that connects.
Oh Knox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gracie closes the distance looking for a takedown. Knox stuffs it but Gracie still has hold of him. Gracie picks Knox up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Gracie slams Knox to the floor and that's really hurt Knox - he doesn't know where he is! Gracie throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
