Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Goldberg (ranked 1701 p4p, 212 weight class) and Jack Pool (ranked 3411 p4p, 358 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Goldberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Pool!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pool throws a chopping leg kick but Goldberg manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Goldberg looks to land a left hand but Pool moved out of range nicely.
Pool has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pool.
Goldberg swings for the body but Pool moves out of range.
As Goldberg backs off Pool throws a huge counter combo but Goldberg manages to avoid it all.
Pool misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pool looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goldberg is fending him off so far but Pool persists. Nope, Goldberg circles away and we're back to standing.

Pool bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Goldberg's guard.

Goldberg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pool is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Goldberg is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pool can do to turn this around?
Goldberg arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Pool's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Goldberg!
An out of breath John Goldberg thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
