Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Everett Arroyo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Caramon Majere!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arroyo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Majere throws a leg kick but Arroyo sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Arroyo feinted with a counter takedown.
Arroyo misses with a wild body shot.
Arroyo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Majere sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Arroyo or perhaps it was just good defense by Majere, which made it look bad.
Majere lands with an uppercut that bounces Arroyo off the cage and back into range.
Arroyo misses with a low kick.
Arroyo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Majere throws a half hearted mid kick.
Arroyo tries a low kick but Majere avoids it.

Arroyo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Majere doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Arroyo.
Arroyo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Majere is looking for a sweep. Arroyo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Arroyo trying to control the action but Majere is working from the bottom.
Arroyo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Majere has managed to free his arm - good work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Majere makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Arroyo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Majere is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Arroyo trying to control the position from guard on top but Majere is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Majere trying to keep a closed guard but Arroyo is proving a slippery customer.
Majere is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Arroyo defends well.
Majere had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Arroyo defends it easily.

Arroyo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Majere's guard.
Arroyo is working for a submission of some sort.
Majere looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Arroyo is working for a kimura but Majere is defending it quite comfortably.
Majere looking for submissions off his back.
Arroyo works his foot free and advances to mount.

Majere is squirming around, avoiding Arroyo's attempts to control the action.
Majere wants to hold on but Arroyo pushes him away.
Majere is looking to get to half guard.
Arroyo lands a big shot there that rocks Majere but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Majere tries to improve his position but instead Arroyo has taken his back!
Arroyo working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Majere is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Arroyo has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Majere taps out!
