Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cayden Donovan (ranked 3950 p4p, 386 weight class) and Tatsuya Kimura (ranked 3752 p4p, 374 weight class). Tatsuya Kimura looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura defending well as Donovan loads up on a big left hand.

Donovan tries to throw a body punch but Kimura avoids it by throwing Donovan back against the cage.

Our sources have told us that Donovan has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kimura has gone for a leg lock! Donovan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kimura's guard.

Donovan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kimura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Donovan has managed to get both his arms back between Kimura's legs - danger averted.

Kimura throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Donovan escapes and throws Kimura's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Cayden Donovan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Donovan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kimura's shoulder. That is not cool.
