Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romolo Barros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isac Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newton has chosen Diablo - The Preacher as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton shoots in for a takedown but Barros shows good takedown defense.

Newton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barros to the mat! Barros manages to get full guard.

Barros has his foot on Newton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Newton works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Barros shoots and misses

Barros is looking to defend but Newton has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Barros! Newton pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Barros taps out and this one is all over!
