Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A slow jab from Pirolla misses its intended target.
Rua lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Everton Pirolla has been cut.
Pirolla missing with a left hand there. Rua was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rua ducks straight into an uppercut from Pirolla and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Rua maanges to regain guard straight away.
Rua is rocked!
It looks like Miguel Rua has been cut.
Rua working for a triangle but Pirolla defends it easily.
Rua is still in real trouble! Can Pirolla finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pirolla has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rua is proving hard to escape from.
Rua is looking to stand up but Pirolla isn't so interested in that idea.
Rua seems to have recovered his senses.
Pirolla wants to get up but he can't break Rua's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Rua is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Pirolla won't allow Rua to sweep him here.
Rua uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Pirolla looks to land a left hand but Rua moved out of range nicely.
Pirolla misses with a looping right.
Rua lands a glancing blow to the side of Pirolla's head.
Pirolla misses with an uppercut.
Rua bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pirolla steps into range and cracks Rua with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Rua flops backwards and Pirolla dives into his guard looking to finish!
Rua is looking to stand up but Pirolla isn't so interested in that idea.
Pirolla wants to stand but Rua has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Rua is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rua uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Rua looks gassed!
Pirolla swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rua keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pirolla.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Pirolla and Rua goes tumbling to the canvas! Pirolla follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rua manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Pirolla stuffs the takedown.
Rua is holding his hands too far apart here. Pirolla throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Rua is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
