The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Auuuu pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Auuuu slips under a jab from Slim.
Auuuu tests Slim's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Fat Slim has been cut.
Auuuu throws a lazy uppercut
and Auuuu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Auuuu looks to land a right hand but Slim moved out of range.

Auuuu tries to keep at a distance but Slim has taken the fight into the clinch.

Auuuu breaks the clinch.
A left and a right from Slim both land. Nice combination.
Auuuu works the jab nicely.
Auuuu looks to throw the jab but Slim is out of range.
Auuuu thows a left - swing and a miss!

Slim rushes Auuuu and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slim has Auuuu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Auuuu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Slim will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Auuuu up against the cage.
Auuuu can't find room to land a body shot as Slim controls the action.
Auuuu misses with a short punch on the inside.

Slim breaks the clinch.
Auuuu throws a jab but it's blocked by Slim.
Slim has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Slim avoids the body shot from Auuuu.
Slim moves away from the strike by Auuuu.

Slim works over Auuuu's head and body with a nice combination.
A slow jab from Auuuu misses its intended target.

and Slim counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Auuuu thinking.

Auuuu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Slim.

Auuuu lands a left hand that snaps the head of Slim backwards.

Slim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Auuuu throws a body punch but Slim moves out of range.

Slim darts in and clinches Auuuu up against the cage.
Slim just leaning against Auuuu, taking a breather.
Slim can't find room to land a body shot as Auuuu controls the action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vucko Auuuu will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Fat Slim's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Auuuu misses the shot to the body.
Slim displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Auuuu throws out the jab.
Vucko Auuuu is winning the standup battle so far.
Auuuu throws a hook to the side of Slim's head but Slim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Auuuu jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Auuuu throws a hook but Slim avoids it easily.
As Auuuu backs off Slim throws a huge counter combo but Auuuu manages to avoid it all.
A jab from Slim does it's job there.
Slim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Auuuu.
Auuuu is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Slim fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Auuuu loads up on a big right hand but Slim slips the punch.
Slim walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Auuuu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Auuuu takes a swing at Slim's ribcage but misses.

and Slim counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Slim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Auuuu missing with a left hand there. Slim was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Auuuu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Slim sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Auuuu throws a jab but it's blocked by Slim.
Auuuu just misses with a punch to the body.
Slim unleashes a big counter combination but Auuuu bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Auuuu lands a nice hook to Slim's body. Slim takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Auuuu swats away the attempt to clinch by Slim.
Auuuu throws a jab when Slim was well out of range.
Slim let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Slim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Slim is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Slim will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Auuuu connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Slim takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Auuuu lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Slim falls backwards - clearly groggy! Auuuu dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
