Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carter Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy tries for a takedown but Dixon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dixon throws an overhand right that lands on Hardy's shoulder, as Hardy tries to avoid the shot.
A jab from Dixon misses.
Dixon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dixon misses with a wild combination.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown but Dixon shows good takedown defense.
Horrible takedown by Hardy or perhaps it was just good defense by Dixon which made him look bad.
Ryan Dixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carter Hardy.

Hardy slips under a jab from Dixon.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dixon catches Hardy napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Hardy to the canvas!

Hardy is rocked!

It looks like Carter Hardy has been cut.
Dixon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hardy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hardy is still in real trouble! Can Dixon finish him?
Dixon passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hardy seems to have recovered his senses.
Hardy tries to buck Dixon off but Dixon is having none of it.
Hardy prevents Dixon from moving into mount.

Dixon flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Hardy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dixon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Dixon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hardy to the mat! Hardy manages to get full guard.

Dixon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Dixon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hardy on the ground.
Hardy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Dixon is sitting in close to Hardy's body. Hardy has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dixon is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dixon is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hardy.
