Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Wholequist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wholequist comes to the cage accompanied by 'Extreme Ways' by Moby. Wallace has chosen Metallica-Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Wholequist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Wallace!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Wholequist shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wallace's guard.

Wallace postures up and lands a big shot to Wholequist's brow.
Jackson Wholequist overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wholequist is on top in guard.

Wholequist is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wallace is just riding it out for now. Wholequist eventually gives up the hold.
