Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Filipino Hitman (ranked 3997 p4p, 146 weight class) and Mikko Deggamendov (ranked 4059 p4p, 148 weight class). Mikko Deggamendov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitman lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Deggamendov tries a head kick but it misses.

Deggamendov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hitman eats them both and turns towards Deggamendov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Filipino Hitman has been cut.
Deggamendov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hitman.
Hitman blocks the body kick.
Hitman lands with a shot to the body.
Hitman moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hitman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Deggamendov throws a sloppy head kick and Hitman moves out of range easily.
Hitman throws a hook but Deggamendov avoids it easily.

Deggamendov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hitman to score with a decent uppercut.

Hitman connects with a right hand. Deggamendov shakes it off.

Filipino Hitman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hitman sends Deggamendov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hitman is motioning to the referee to let Deggamendov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Deggamendov is still on wobbly legs! Can Hitman finish him?
