The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapierre fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lapierre defending well as Abilez loads up on a big left hand.
Abilez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Abilez scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Robert Lapierre has been cut.
Abilez cracks Lapierre with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lapierre misses with a kick to the body

and Abilez counters with a left hand that sends Lapierre to the canvas!

Lapierre is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Abilez wants to stand but Lapierre is controlling his posture from full guard.
Lapierre is still in real trouble! Can Abilez finish him?
Lapierre seems to have recovered his senses.
Lapierre is trying to control the position but Abilez postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Abilez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lapierre.
Lapierre shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lapierre has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lapierre looks winded!

Abilez misses with a straight right.
Abilez misses with an uppercut.
Abilez throws a big shot that misses.
Abilez dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Abilez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Abilez drops Lapierre with a huge uppercut! Lapierre drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Abilez is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
