The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis misses with a straight right.
Lewis thows a left - swing and a miss!
Thornton is looking to clinch.
Lewis looks to land a left hand but Thornton moved out of range nicely.
Thornton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lewis throws out the jab.
Lewis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lewis looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Thornton tries to stand but Lewis is controlling from the bottom.
Thornton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lewis on the ground.
Lewis is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Thornton frees his head nicely. Oh but Lewis has switched to an armbar! Thornton is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
