Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Harris (ranked 2193 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Carvaleho (ranked 1278 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Harris lands with a good body shot.
A low kick from Harris misses

and Carvaleho counters with a takedown into side control.
Harris manages to work his way to half guard, despite Carvaleho's best efforts.

Carvaleho looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Harris definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Carvaleho content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Carvaleho tries to pass the half guard into mount. Harris knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harris is trying to control but Carvaleho manages to pass to mount!
Harris is squirming around, avoiding Carvaleho's attempts to control the action.

Carvaleho swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Harris is now in Carvaleho's guard. A big mistake from Carvaleho there, giving up the dominant position!

Carvaleho is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Carvaleho looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Harris is defending well. Carvaleho quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Harris has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Carvaleho celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
