Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Ericson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Ericson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson swinging wilding here.

Johnson gets caught flat footed, as Ericson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ericson is in close to Johnson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ericson won't allow Johnson to get back to his feet.
Johnson looking for a sweep. Not yet Johnson, not yet.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing Ericson from controlling successfully.
Ericson thows a big elbow that misses.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Johnson clinches.

Ericson tries to score a body lock takedown but Johnson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Ericson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Johnson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Johnson is looking to control Ericson's arms but Ericson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Johnson has his back to the cage.

Jack Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Ericson.
Johnson tries a body shot but Ericson blocks it.
Ericson tries to score a body lock takedown but Johnson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Johnson struggles to land a body shot inside as Ericson controls his hands.

Ericson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ericson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ericson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ericson has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.

Ericson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ericson has his feet on Johnson's thighs here. He's pushed Johnson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Johnson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
