The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubson shoots in for a takedown but Jack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jack tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Rubson shoots and misses

and Jack decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rubson's guard.
Rubson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jack on the ground.

Jack tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rubson is bucking up trying to escape but Jack cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
