Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Liam McKnight (ranked 3649 p4p, 387 weight class) and Jeremy Wayne (ranked 5551 p4p, 469 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam McKnight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Wayne.
Wayne tries a head kick but it misses.
McKnight blocks a head kick by Wayne.
McKnight throws a right and a left that Wayne avoids nicely.
Wayne is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
McKnight throws a head kick but Wayne moves out of range.
Wayne throws a body punch but McKnight moves out of range.
McKnight dives in and grabs Wayne's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wayne pushes down on McKnight's head and hops out.
McKnight closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wayne blocks a punch to the side of the head.
McKnight pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wayne rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McKnight moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McKnight thinks about countering with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McKnight shoots in looking for a takedown. Wayne tries to sprawl out of it but McKnight keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wayne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Wayne enables McKnight to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wayne manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McKnight is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
McKnight gets to his feet - Wayne follows without any prompting.
McKnight lands a big head kick that sends Wayne tumbling to the mat! McKnight takes a step backwards and waves Wayne back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from McKnight! This one is all over!
