Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Little (ranked 3772 p4p, 201 weight class) and Theodore Nouveau (ranked 3291 p4p, 179 weight class). The key to victory for Samuel Little has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nouveau looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Nouveau is standing up over Little. Little looks to escape but Nouveau dives into side control.

Little is looking to regain half guard here but Nouveau keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nouveau slows the pace down.

Nouveau working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Nouveau lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Little tries to buck Nouveau off but Nouveau is having none of it.
Nouveau lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Little down.
Little trying to remain calm as Nouveau controls from the top position.

Little tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nouveau wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Nouveau remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Nouveau lands a nice forearm strike.
Nouveau moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Little takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Nouveau is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Little is trying to escape and Nouveau transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Little is forced to tap! Nice work there by Nouveau! Very nice indeed!
