Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Danis (ranked 23167 p4p, 532 weight class) and Lars Wagner (ranked 5380 p4p, 472 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Danis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Wagner!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Danis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Danis misses with a wild body shot.

Wagner moves into range and clinches up with Danis.
Wagner tries to break free but Danis pushes him back against the cage.

Wagner feints a jab promting Danis to slip. Wagner then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Danis slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wagner connects with a body shot that sends Danis's belly button to the back.
Danis takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Danis tries to clinch but Wagner moves out of range.
Wagner unleashes a big counter combination but Danis bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Danis takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Wagner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Danis shoots in and drives through. Wagner sprawls well.

and Wagner counters with a left and a right that stings Danis.
We've been informed that Wagner has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Well Wagner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
