Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Drew Abilez (ranked 3455 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Bilic (ranked 24447 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mario Bilic!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Abilez moves away.
Bilic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Abilez sprawls well. Abilez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bilic gets slowly back to his feet.
Abilez throws a hook to the side of Bilic's head but Bilic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Abilez misses with a body shot.
Bilic with the counter takedown but Abilez avoids it easily.
Abilez getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bilic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bilic takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Abilez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Bilic is rocked!

Abilez looks to land a right hand but Bilic moved out of range.
The fighters circling - Abilez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Abilez stuffs the takedown attempt from Bilic. Bilic gets slowly back to his feet.
Abilez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bilic sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A shot to the liver by Abilez. Beautiful body shot.

Abilez scores with a jab to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Abilez.
Bilic is still on wobbly legs! Can Abilez finish him?
Bilic fails to land the takedown.
Bilic seems to have recovered his senses.
Drew Abilez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Bilic.
No luck for Bilic with that takedown attempt.
Abilez connects with a right hand. Bilic shakes it off.
Drew Abilez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Abilez misses the jab.
Bilic staying out of range there.
Abilez looks to land a left hand but Bilic moved out of range nicely.
Bilic takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bilic fails with the takedown.
Abilez cracks Bilic with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Bilic falls to his knees and Abilez doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
