Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gagnon throws a body punch but Larousse moves out of range.
Larousse tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Larousse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gagnon moves away.
Gagnon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Gagnon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Larousse was well out of range. Poor timing from Gagnon.
Gagnon throws a wild body kick that Larousse sees coming a mile off.
Gagnon connects with a single shot there.
Larousse looks to land a left hand but Gagnon moved out of range nicely.
Larousse takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Gagnon feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Larousse's calf.
Gagnon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Larousse counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Gagnon!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larousse working away.
Gagnon is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Larousse works to advance to full mount. Gagnon defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gagnon tries to lock up and control but Larousse gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Larousse is working for a guillotine from mount but Gagnon frees his head quite easily.

Larousse is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gagnon to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gagnon shrugs it off.

Larousse is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gagnon knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gagnon for a finish.
Larousse is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Larousse has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Gagnon is in real trouble here. Larousse gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Gagnon is tapping out! Larousse wins by rear naked choke!
