The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flexy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Joe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Joe on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Joe gets tackled into the cage by Flexy. Flexy maintains the clinch.

Joe is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Flexy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Joe is looking to defend but Flexy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Joe! Flexy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Joe taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Dropkick Flexy!
