CACC 60 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Antonio Brown (ranked 1933 p4p, 115 weight class) and Ono Kuronoa (ranked 1872 p4p, 111 weight class). Brown comes to the ring accompanied by Michael Jackson- Don't stop til you get enough. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 9 losses; Antonio Brown ! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Ono Kuronoa!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Kuronoa clinches up against the ropes.

Kuronoa pulls Brown into guard.
Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Kuronoa is looking for a triangle but Brown pushes his legs off easily.

Brown definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kuronoa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kuronoa controls Brown momentarily but Brown frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kuronoa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brown has gone for a leg lock! Kuronoa slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brown 's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kuronoa wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Kuronoa wants to work for an arm triangle but Brown is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Brown wants to control the action here but instead Kuronoa manages to pass to full mount!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Brown is squirming around, avoiding Kuronoa's attempts to control the action.

Brown wants to control but Kuronoa is having none of it.
Brown bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Kuronoa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brown is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kuronoa is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Kuronoa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brown defends it easily.

Kuronoa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brown is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kuronoa is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kuronoa has escaped and now he's on top!

Brown tries to improve his position but Kuronoa has taken his back! Kuronoa has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Brown tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Kuronoa pushes Brown away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
