And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Jones!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones throws a body punch but Kruger moves out of range.
Kruger falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Jones counter with a right hand.

It looks like Paul Kruger has been cut.
Kruger pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Paul Kruger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kruger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A punch lands to the side of Kruger 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kruger misses with a head kick.
Jones looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kruger throws a leg kick but Jones sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jones.
Kruger throws a sloppy body shot
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.
A head kick misses from Kruger.

Kruger takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Kruger gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Jones gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Kruger is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Jones!
A relieved looking David Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
